City of Ukiah Summer Basketball League

2013 Summer Hoop League Registration Form

The City of Ukiah Community Services Department would like to announce the beginning of registration for the 2013 Men’s Summer Basketball League. Registration will be accepted through Friday, June 6th. The team fee is $350 and is due at the time of registration. The league will play Thursday evenings at the Coyote Valley Gym and is open to men ages 18 and up.

Open Gym Basketball Session: May 5 - July 28, 2013 

The City of Ukiah would like to announce it’s first Open Gym Basketball Session. Come have fun and burn some calories playing basketball at the new Alex Rorabaugh Center Gymnasium. This session of Open Gym will be held on Sundays from 4-6pm for women and 6-8pm for men. The session runs from May 5th through July 28th (no class June 9).  The cost is only $30 for the entire session or $3 drop in fee.

Youth Sports Camps

The City of Ukiah offers a variety of sports camps throughout the year. They are open to boys and girls of all skill levels and are led by local coaches. We offer Low-Income discounts for all of our camps and will work to ensure that children have the opportunity to participate.

Recreation Class Registration Form

Each camper will receive intense individual instruction in every phase of the game of basketball from qualified local basketball coaches.  Team responsibility and self-discipline will be emphasized.  The camp will include the following:  T-shirt * Awards * Team Play * Shooting Techniques * Passing Drills * Offensive & Defensive Techniques * Fundamentals * 3-on-3 Competition * Free Throw Contest * And Lots More.

Girls Youth Softball League

The Girls Youth Softball leagues begin practice in April and start playing games in May. Practices and games are held at Giorno Field, Lions Field and the Ukiah High Softball fields.

• The divisions are: Kindergarten -2nd grade (T-ball), 3rd/4th grade (pitching machine), 5th/6th grade (fast pitch), and 7th - 12th grade (fast pitch)

OFFICIALS NEEDED!

Officials are needed for the City of Ukiah Youth Softball League: Weekday evenings April - May 2013 This part-time position is open to individuals 16 years and older.

Team practices begin after Thanksgiving Break and games start after New Years. Games will be played on the weekends in Ukiah area gymnasiums including Ukiah High, Pomolita Middle School, Eagle Peak Middle School, Yokayo Elementary and the Coyote Valley Shodakai Gym.

Co-ed Volleyball League

Open to players age 16 and up.

All teams will be scheduled for at least 8 league games plus playoffs. Games will be played week-nights beginnng in April.
